Our Story
Hello and welcome to our little shop.
We are sisters and mums to five little people. When our daughters were born we struggled to find simple, beautiful, traditional clothes that we loved and could afford for them. We decided to throw caution to the wind and start designing our own. We design clothes that we love our clothes and we hope that you will love them too.
Our Values
At Little Cotton Clothes, we believe it is essential to care for the environment and the people who make our clothes. We are a very small team, but this is a huge part of what we focus on, making the right choices is at the heart of everything we do.
Our collections are considered and small. We make only what we believe is needed, choosing the best natural materials and GOTS certified organic cotton to ensure our clothing has the lightest possible impact on the world around us.
Our Ethics
Our clothes are made by a small number of family-run factories in India and Turkey. We choose our makers carefully and build long-lasting relationships with them, ensuring from the very start that they share our values. All of our factories are ethically audited, so we can be confident that the people who make our clothes are looked after, valued and working in safe and happy conditions. Our Inspiration
We are far from a fast or throwaway fashion brand. With the help of a small and dedicated team, we continue to design every collection ourselves and remain involved in all aspects of our business.
We care deeply about the way we run things. By producing only small, considered quantities, we are able to ensure little to no leftover stock — nothing is made without a reason. We take our time designing clothes that we truly love, pieces that are timeless rather than trend-led, and we hope this shows in everything we make.
Our inspiration comes from nature and nostalgia — from pressed flowers and country walks, faded florals and well-loved storybooks. We hope this comes through in every single piece.
